MN_Chief 164 Posted November 28, 2009 could you show the basics of how to save a map (bin and ini files and what to do with them)? or show some tips to get some people started. i've been confused with the bin and ini files and what to do with them as i mentioned before. i get the triggers part, but reading is not going to help me sense i have a hard time understanding things thus it would be great to have a video to show me. step by step. otherwise i know how to do everything else which i mentioned before. thanks. Tore 40 Posted November 28, 2009 What do you mean? If you downloaded a map put the bin and ini file into your game folder If you created a map save them as scgxxea (GDI) or scbxxea (Nod) and put them in your game folder (xx is a number between 01 and 98, for your maps to appear on the new missions list they should be over 50)
MN_Chief 164 Posted November 29, 2009 ok, when i go to save my mission. it will let me save as a ini or a bin file... this is where i get confused at. do i save twice with the scgxxea, etc?
Nyerguds 135 Posted November 29, 2009 For your maps to appear on the new missions list they should be larger than 19, not 50. The first one in the list is #20. But of course the first ones are already used by the Covert Ops. You normally find a place to save the ini, and it automatically writes the bin there too.
