Can we have a custom map high res map preview?

Just like update 3.4.0.2 had? but not anymore with 3.4.0.3

I mean they are in the custom folder but they don't show in high res on CnCNet

No, we cant. I had created topic about suggestion to keep default map thumbinails as custom map previews, and about problems outgoing from using map renders (high reso previews). But topic has been vanished since forum software has been updated, so i can't find it anymore.

I can try to fnd the saved copy of that topic to argue my standpoint again, but not now.

 

@Roooo if you want to have high reso map preview - create your own map preview from rendered image and downscale it to fit in 200x200 pixels square.

@Grant this still doesn't seem fixed, I've been editing a map and it keeps showing the low-res preview on the client (While there's a high-res preview available in the folder).

Looks like this problem isnt still solved, thats a shame because high res picture woluld much help for people who play first time on less popular maps

It was removed due to technical limitations.

is there some step-by step guide on how to make an own high res preview? i made a custom map but don´t know what exactly to do to let it show a high res preview in cncnt RA2
