Yes I do miss the C&C95 look and feel from the Communication forums.

You missed the white theme after the forum upgrade, which is what this topic was aimed at, not the ugly C&C comms theme, that 2nd rate modding forum. xD

Hmm, I didn't use the white theme. But I still think there should be a C&C95 theme like the old Communication forum. It reminded me of the old monitors that was displayed in black and green.

When the real core enablement eventually came from ppmsite's modders/hackers. :D

So yeah, 2nd rate. :P

Banshee, Banshee, Banshee!! xD

The lord and saviour of cnc modding along with Olaf.

Seems all modders love 1960s themes :( ppmsite, cnccomm, xwis ladder...

Not quite sure what you are getting at here.

Next CnCNet theme: monochrome,

alternatives:

green phosphor or white phosphor. Text mode only :P

I'm getting at the 2nd rate part. :D;)

How have you survived this long on the internet?!

In that case I'd be forced to hack the forum and give people what they want.

A 32bit forum theme based entirely on SVG with vibrant gradients resembling Nyan cat's exhaust.

Playing old desaturated and pixelated games has clearly let evolution know you don't need colour or or eyesight above 240p. xD

That's rather circular. I was looking for what PPM has enabled in CnCNet, looking for your opinion on that ;)

By using the best browser known to man: Lynx :P

Do I need to say more?

I don't even want to know your PC specs.
I'll trawl on with my 64bit Chrome so one web page can use the 16GB of RAM that I have, 'more efficiently'.

That would be a part of (the former?) Renegade Projects, not PPM.But there have been great contributions from certain PPM people like Rampastring who made the majority of the YR client. Ares itself hasn't been much of a influence especially seeing that CnCNet5 was initially incompatible with it until a CnCNet5 DLL could be made.

Speaking of circular Tore, please change the Avatar shape back to square. It's overused, cuts people's avatars off and looks ugly. :P

Next update all avatars are gonna be oval. :P

Once the CnCNet theme has been updated to work with this version of IPB avatars will be back to squares :)

Should have used PhPBB forums instead. This forum software gives me headaches.

No multi quote.

When back-spacing to edit, cursor randomly jumps to other text.

Nevermind editing posts with multiple quotes, it's when sht truly hits the fan and then your face on the other side of the fan. (Above issue amplified.)

Sometimes formatting text doesn't work, trying to make something bold or increase font size doesn't work either.

Oh, really? :P

You just select some text and click the "quote" box that pops up. and you can do that as many times as you want.

WOW, so user-friendly and intuitive. If one never selects text, then they will never find out about it. Just found another bug, trying to use enter to start typing on a new line, causes half of my post to be deleted with the cut off text being on the new line...

I never claimed it was a user friendly or even a good system. I just showed you that you were wrong on the multi-quote thing.

I never said that you did claim anything, was just pointing out the lack of foresight/common sense of the original developer of that feature.

Developer: I have great idea for quoting posts!
Design Lead: What is it?
Developer: People can just quote text from posts they highlighted!
Design Lead: Amazing, so modern.
User: WTF is this bs?

Thank you for showing me that I was wrong about something I could not have possibly known without researching the forum software's features...

This is the best forum software I've ever  used.

Stop whining and get good.

This the most bug riddled forum software I've ever used.
Install/configure things properly and stop posting complete nonsense.

How about modern coders learn to release their software properly tested like they used to?
Tired of everything from MS Windows to modern games being released full of bugs that often render the paid for 'premium' utterly useless/nonfunctional.

Though more importantly what kind of fucking answer is that?
How about getting off the power trip with Grant and stop implementing utter shit into the ladder?
