The aim of this topic is to allow map authors to submit their best maps, and allow the YR community to vote if the map should be included with the main YR client as standard.

Voting

  • "Up-vote" or "Like" the post with a map you would like to see added to the YR client. Any emojis will be ignored. 


Map authors, how to post:

  • Attach the .map file
  • Attach a preview of the map
  • (Optional) Provide a description and or any gameplay videos you would like to show.

Rules:

  • One map per post. You can submit as many maps as you like, but create it in a new post.
  • The map must have been play-tested and is deemed the final version of your map.
  • Do not upload your newest map that hasn't yet been played.
  • You confirm by posting, that you are the original author of the map you are submitting. 


NOTE: ONLY MAP AUTHORS ARE ALLOWED TO POST. EVERYONE ELSE PLEASE JUST VOTE. SPAM WILL BE REMOVED!

Description:

[4] Presidential Lake is a small 2vs2 map intended for TOP vs BOTTOM play but also great for 1vs1 matches if you are on the diagonal opposite site of each other. This map has no cheats or any intended advantages/disatvantages for any fractions or positions.

Tipps:

  1. - Build to the gems in the middle
  2. - Build naval if you can afford
  3. - Don´t mess with the President

Changelog:

V1.0:

Inspired by the official [2] Little Big Lake map I created a similar map for 2vs2 and named it [4] Presidential Lake

New V1.1:

  1. slightly updated map look and object positioning
  2. rebalanced ore/gems
  3. enabled AI
  4. added high-res preview
  5. gave more power to the President

Excellent naval map for 2v2v2v2 or 1v1v1v1 games.
The disputed islands do not allow players to sit out at the base, but immediately provoke a military clash.

Official already! You can find it in the "Mod Maps" section, since the map has small mods of several units.

Woodland plains (2-6)
Somewhere deep in the woodlands used to lie a city. Not much remains of said city, but the plains left behind are rich in ore and gems. Woodland plains is a 3v3 map where each team starts on a their plateau with each starting point having ore & gems nearby. Valley beneath the starting plateaus has some ore as well. Similar to TOE, each team also has a middle plateau filled with ore. Teams can find extra gems on the side plateaus where some buildings are left standing. The forests near the side plateaus also hide some treasure. Mean, green and unseen.!

My best map. For 2v2v2v2 naval batles.
   This is not just a naval battle. This is a micro model of the world. Geopolitics works here.
Do not play this map in 2v2 or 4v4 format. This breaks the whole concept of this map. Play it 2v2v2v2! And dont use super weapons.
   Prepare for a long game of over 2 hours.

I recommend to play this version of Oceania.

Version with american airport in corner of main island. (for additional paradrop)

V3Rocket range increased x2. Launcher cost 1200.

Range of Grand cannon increased x1.4. And it is possible to build no more than 6 cannons. 

Snipers range increased x1.8

Russian Tesla tank range increased x1.5

Germans Tank Destroyer range increased x1.6

Kirov Airship armor increased x1.25 speed increased x1.4

These changes are very minor due to the size of the map. They are only intended to adapt the parameters of some units to the huge size of the map and turn absolutely useless units on this map into usable ones, but they do not give any serious advantage.
The range of the great cannon remains less than the radius of aircraft carriers and dreadnoughts, so they can destroy the cannon without entering its firing zone.
Kirov also transforms from a completely useless unit into something that can be used here with any minimal success. The V3 missile is also adapted for long distances.I will especially note that the units are not assigned any new properties or weapons, usually the range is simply increased to adapt to the large distances of the map. These changes will often be completely unnoticed by players.
