Solved issue making red alert 1 not alt tab back, in windows, alt tab back to red alert when it goes to black screen click as much as you can and it will not close down again.

Very strange, did not see the ip's in the host file when its suppose to be there. I posted it, but still does not work. Tunngle on the other hand works perfectly (so far) and works better than my hamachi experiences.

Didn't work =S, is there any manual way of doing it? If it has something to do with host file, do I need to add an ip? Because I think my spybot is blocking shit. It has a list of ip websites blocks on the host file.

I connect as guest and then it crashes. Edit: tried with guest, nickname1,2 and my own custom name/password. All crashes, weird. P.S Would tunngle work with red alert1?

Nope doesn't work, though I'll try hamachi later and for additional information, I use AVG and spybot.

It'll hang on connecting then it'll say connection timed out after.

1) I did task manager and it does not work, it just goes into game and then min back. (this isn't much of an issue, I dont alt tab during online play but it can be annoying to forget to save in story mode) 2) This solved my issue thank you. 3) it says I got 3.03E in red alert 1 and the interface did change showing "4players" on the right. But what online interface you mean? The network? Or westwood online? When I try westwood it tells me to sign up, and network does nothing. Thank you for your reply.

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I would really love to play red alert 1 like I did back in the days. So I got several questions/issues. First will be that red alert 1 doesn't open properly unless I have nvida control window up. So every time I min the window, I cannot bring it back up. Is there any better way of opening ra1? Second issue the colours are screwed up in game. Its playable, but I would like to play it as if it was made to (as the banner of this forum looks like). I can't really screen shot, it'll look even more messed. Third, just wondering, whats the best way of playing red alert 1 online? I got all those files, before red alert 1 was free I had to use kali to play online but since its not free is there a way to play ra1, best possible way? Comp specs i5, windows 7, nvida 9800 GTX +
