When I build low priced units like light infantry or component towers/ any low priced building I seem to get a noticeable drop in fps. I even get frame rate drop when I hover of my base if it's too large.

Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
AMD Athlon II X2 250u processors (x2)
I can't disable Directdraw and virtal PC's can't run on this computer.
This is the version of C&C TS I used http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=41 Because the freeware version wouldn't install on this PC.
