Err,.....I also asked this question in my how-to-install thread (resolved already), but since it might not be spotted.....I would like to know as well, how does one uninstall the Red Alert program from Windows 7? I don't see any uninstall option and it doesn't appear in Add/Remove Programs or Revo either..... Is it simply deleting the entire folder? TIA

Yay, I finally got it to work......The problem was I installed it in another drive (G drive) , not the master drive, i.e. C drive.... Changing the renderer to Open GL solved the problem. BUT, I do have another question, how to uninstall the Red Alert game in the other G drive? Is it simply deleting the whole FullRA folder?

I already switched between GDI and OpenGL in the Config tool, but to no avail

I have downloaded the Full Version from Red Alert 1 (730 Mb) but now it cannot seem to start or run. 1) I click on the Full-Red-Alert file and then it starts to extract. 2) I get all the AntiVirus/Firewall messages that the game is modifying my files/settings/keys.....I allow them to proceed 3) The whole PC hangs/freezes when the ra95.exe is initialized or clicked on. I just get a black screen. My question = How can I play the game on single player mode on my machine? My PC is running Windows 7 with resolution 1366 x 768 RAM 2 GB, Nvidia graphic card....about 4 years old.....I tried to configure the game using the RA Config Tool that is supplied, like changing the resolution to match my screen, but it still hangs. What else do I need to do to run the game?

Apparently, our govt in their good hearts to protect the multibillion (or trillion entertainment industry in the US) has blocked a lot of file sharing sites like Megaupload and DepositFiles last year.....I only found out about that yesterday. Anyway, used a proxy DNS and managed to download the full version. But now, there is a new problem..... RA cannot install or start properly, because it always hangs at the connection stage to the CNC server..... :ranting:

I am from Malaysia. I used to play RA years ago. First off, the RA mini link works. The Full Version RA link does NOT work. The mirror does not work too. I tried browsing with a proxy, and the depositfiles link is apparently not broken....but still unclickable.....not working even in the proxy. :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :down:

Hmmm.....so did the administrators make the links broken for visitors from certain regions or countries??? :down:

Hi all, A heads up, the download links for the full version of Red Alert on the main page of RedAlert1.com are NOT working. They are broken, both the main and mirror links. Please fix that. TIA
