That was one of the first things I did and that did not help. I ended up rolling back to a restore point from a month ago and it seemed to work. all good now.

I was getting an error when I opened redalert1_online.exe that said "redalert1_online.exe has stopped working". I couldn't get past that so I just uninstalled and deleted everything in that folder and downloaded everything again. This time I am getting Error 2[1]: Please check your permissions and Anti Virus/Firewall settings! Also close all programs that might access any of the files in the game folder! I do not have an antivirus or firewall running and even went to add c&c95 and redalert1_online.exe to the exceptions anyways and still cannot get it to work. Any suggestions anyone? I am using windows 7 64 bit.
