Will that solve the issue for skirmish too?

Hey! I have a major issue. As soon as I try to create or join a game and the game is starting I am back in the lobby and it says something like "the game host/player is still playing the game you previously started". Same thing if I create or join a game. I managed once to get into the loading screen of the game and then it froze and changed my screen resolution to 800*600. Skirmish also won't start at all. It just takes me back to the game lobby screen. What can I do? I run Win 7 Home Edition fully updated on a brand new machine and with all drivers good.
