I launch the client, select Play Online, enter my username and then I'm in the lobby. All it says is "connecting..."

When I start the game and press "Play Online" and enter my username, I can't seem to connect to the lobby. All it says is "Connecting..." And nothing happens. What could be the problem? Thanks

Thank you, Webroot is what i'm using so i'll have to try and fix that.

I'm trying to play Red Alert 1, and whenever I launch the game and press either "Play Online" or "Lan" the client instantly crashes. It is doing this every time and I do not know how to fix it. Can anyone help? I have Windows 7, Version 6.1 build 7601
