i downloaded yuris revenge from origin and i cant see the starting position numbers on the westwood maps. I can only see the starting position on the new maps that i get/download from other players on the cncnet when i play online. can anyone help? on the westwood maps, i can only see the map and red squares where the starting position should be, but no numbers. thanks

i think its my internet but when i play online nobody loads and only i load so everyone loses and im victorious. it only happens when i use the wifi at a certain place. when i use the wifi at any other place everyone loads fine and we can play fine. when playing online but with just me and the computer also loads fine and skirmish not online is also fine.so the problem only happens when using the wifi at a certain place so im sure its the internet. i was wondering if anyone can tell me whats going on. thanks.

hello to anyone that can help me, The problem is when playing online only. In the loading screen before I start the match, instead of showing all the players with their color and faction begin to load, the loading screen gets all black, no sound is heard, and the bottom menu part of my home screen shows, ie., the windows icon and the time and date along with internet windows that are minimized away. Then after a few seconds, the match begins, but it is still silent until i click on the MCV, at which point the sound returns and the match continues normally. it was working normal (the loading screen was showing the players load) until this morning 7/15, my display settings have been in IE-DDraw with the back buffer in video memory box checked the whole time and its been working fine. i cant put it in any other display setting because it wont work(wont be able to play online at all) otherwise ( i tried it). Since there have been updates recently i think it might be due to updates and stuff since the skirmish, not online, feature(loading screen part) works fine , but im not sure. can anyone help or is anyone having the same thing happen to them? thanks for your time

ok, i think i fixed it.in the display section of the options in the cncnet i changed renderer to IE-DDRAW and checked the box that says "back buffer in video memory(dont enable unless necessary)". its been working fine for the past couple days and it loads fine also, only that when i get a new map transferred online, there is usually a disconnection and we ( everyone playing online with me in the room) have to go back, but after that it works good. thanks for the help and time ,now i can play this addicting game.

Also playing online with only AI. (lock the game so no one enters and pick all AI and click im ready) . itll do the same thing.

correct. skirmish offline does not work also. its been in ts-ddraw. thanks for the quick reply.

correction:i just realized that the skirmish not online also do the same thing.

hello, my problem is that when i try to play online i never get to the loading screen where all the players are loading and instead the screen goes black for a second and reappears in my desktop. it also happens when i try to play online by myself and only an AI. The skirmish games not online work fine so i know it must be a connection thing. Also, the screen randomly freezes when playing online, but i can stil hear sound so i know its just me that froze. I have a dell inspiron 13 7000 series, windows 10, and my antivirus is kaspersky 2016. i tried setting it as 'run this program in compatibility mode for windows 98/windows me' and it works sometimes because sometimes it returns the box of 'run this program..' to being unchecked.
