The site installers won't often stay in sync with the updates, only on major versions or if there's a bug blocking an install. The client will check for the latest update, and you can see the client version at the bottom right of the menu. That makes sense, but I got an error when the client tried to search for updates, so it was a bit hard to get a newer version

Thanks, that did it. But at the time of my post, the installer was downloaded less than an hour earlier. It also confused me, because I saw in some other posts in here that others were running 3.0.41, but mine was only 3.0.39. It would be nice if it was possible to see the version in the properties of the exe.

Hi, When I start a new skirmish (or multiplayer), the combobox where to select "game type" is empty (see file attached). I guess that's why my map-list is empty too? If I try to search for a map, I get an exception (see the file attached), at keyup-event. This is a fresh install of both the game and the cncnet client (3.0.39) - as the old client didn't work at all (https://forums.cncnet.org/index.php?topic=6472.msg49851#msg49851) Another funny thing I noticed, is when I start the game and it says "Administrative privileges required", the box says Tiberian Sun instead of RA2/YR. client.log also attached. This is the first time I see the 3.xx client, and I must say that it looks great - I'm really looking forward to a version with less bugs. Keep up the fantastic work!

For what it's worth - I tried to click the pink area and a menu popped up. Btw - how to check version when the menu is limp?

The log is attached. .NET 3.5 is installed (see attached file dotnet.png). I've got this pink "artifact" in the main menu (see attached file yr.png) - the exit button is also missing. I get the error regardless of choosing Skirmish or CnCNet, but after the error when I choose CnCNet, the app crashes and I get a .NET Framework unhandled exception (see attached file ue.png for details). As you can see in the details, it says that "game-dir"/INI/Default.ini couldn't be found, so I went to game dir and found out that, compared to the installation on my other machine, the 3 folders; INI, Map Renderer and Maps were missing. So I tried to copy the folders from the other machine and I got a little longer. In CnCNet I get to the lobby, but it's like the "artifact" from the menu is still there, now it's just black. When I choose skirmish I also get a bit longer, now I can choose map and all that, but when I want to start the game, I get another error - see attached file "error.png". After that, I tried to copy over gamemd-spawn.exe, but get a new error - see "yr_error.png". I have tried to install the game in a folder in My Documents - it's still the same. The 3 folders and gamemd-spawn.exe aren't created there either. cncnetclient.log ue.txt

I'm getting the same error. I've just installed the game and cncnet-launcher on a brand new machine. It was running fine on my old machine - both windows 10.
