Ok... I got the same error. Deleting those files didn't help. I tried a couple things i found on the Internet (and already forgot) but nothing worked. Today i reinstalled the game and now its crashing even earlier. Can't even update. Im using Bitdefender, just in case that might be a antivir problem. It seems to work with the same installfiles on my laptop. The difference is, i made yesterday on my PC a big Windows update (haven't done that for years) but not on my Laptop. Log file attached.
