(After hearing this multiple times I felt that maybe it wasn't quite the same effect but still! I think that they could be similar. With some audio modification and mixing, it's not quite far-fetched to suggest that the sounds could be related.)
The Yuri's UFO in RA2 was always so absurdly unique. I heard it in this video and knew I just had to post it here to everyone immediately. There's also some music that's james-bond like. Which makes me wonder if James bond and the UFO have their origins in the types of sound effects in the era shown in this video and aren't as original as we think they are!
