For anyone wondering the same, you need to edit the ddraw.ini file in the Red Alert directory and set devmode property to true, i.e. ; Developer mode (don't lock the cursor) devmode=true It makes scrolling across the map a little tedious at times but it works.

Hi, I downloaded the C&C1 and RA1 installers from this site. I like to play the games in window mode so that I can do other things on the side. I was wondering if there was any way to stop the games from constraining the mouse cursor to the game window? The only way to get out of the window is to press the WINDOWS key and it's mildly annoying. I would like to just be able to move the mouse out of the window like you can with many other games. Thanks
