Installing a mod to play Skirmish & Online with CNCNet

Hello,

 

Probably a frequently asked question and I read some stuff about this so-called "rules.ini" file, which does not appear in my folders (i.e. RA2 Yuri's Revenge, CNCNet or from the Mod itself).

 

My questions are actually the following:

1) How do I install the mods so I can play Skirmish and Online?

2) I found a Mod which is called the Apocalypse. I installed this directly to my RA2 folder (standard i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Red Alert II). http://overmind.ro/RedAlert/mpm.html

3) Do I need to change specific kind of files?

 

If this is a repost. Sorry in advance, but there wasn't a FAQ anywhere and the search function did not give the answer I needed.

I'm thinking CnC Net RA2 doesn't use the rules.ini. I know RA1 CnC Net uses the spawn.xdp (Just the rules.ini re-named) to play online games and CnC Net Skrimish. CnC Net RA2 may do the same.

I didn't have this before. I could see the Spawn Location numbers before and now I can't anymore. Anyway to fix this?
