Hi all, i have found the thread about this subject, but it is inactive since February 2016 and it doesn't offer a solution to the issue, so I would like to "resurrect" the subject here.
To date I cannot play Gruntmods' Dune 2000 online nor LAN mode (cncnet client does not connect) from my Win10 VM (i am traveling for business and cannot install anything on my company pc of course).
Host PC: Win7 Pro x64.
VM: Win10 Pro x86.
VM platform: latest VMWare Player.
Firewall and network mode (bridged / NAT) do not make difference.
I tried to copy the installation files in a folder on the host and the launcher complains about incorrect installation but cncnet client works (note: if i move the installation to another folder inside the machine launcher complains about incorrect installation as well and obviously cncnet client still does not work).
It was mentioned that an older version (which one?) of the client was working from inside VM.

Where can i download older client versions?
Are there any other proven solutions?
Thanks and regards.
