  1. I have an issue with your version of Tsun, Rampastring. It appears you are using Dawn of the Tiberian Age mod for Tsun. The Tsun client works smoothly, but when I put the movie files from the CD retail version, the game crashed. By the way, where I can get your modified movie files for your version of Tsun to make it work ingame? Need a downloadable link though for a modded version and I also need to know what movie files are named as.
  2. Although the official download to Tiberian Sun in CNCNet is through Tore's version (which is a beta), there's also a Rampstring version downloadable in Moddb. Now I am confused which version is better and more stable. The Tore version I downloaded and tried is unstable on loading the game.... but at least it can play movie and sound files from the CD retail version and it also comes with extras and a config tool.   5. I started this mission campaign project for my favorite C&C game a decade ago (originally it was named The Ultimate RA1 Campaign). It was partially completed in 2009 and was never released in public until Iran's Portable RA came about. Several years later this small project was rebooted to finish remaining development with some re-editing and tweaks. This release contains 46 mission maps that are viewable via the custom missions menu (21 Allied missions and 25 Soviet missions). Some of the missions I created (and some were derived from official skirmish maps) are Allied missions 1-8,12-14,16,17,21 and Soviet missions 2,3,5,6,9,11,13,15-17,20-22,25. That list is certainly not final because I cannot recall everything which missions I created. Some great missions created by other users are integrated with this campaign. However some of the maps are either unplayable and/or bugged by the unknown. The custom tutorial lines over line 209 may not be working ingame because all of the triggers that mention tutorial lines over line 209 are removed since they wind up crashing the game. Also structures like Forward Command Center, Nuclear Power Plant, Bio Lab, Volkov and Queen Ant need the original C&C cameo icons. Remaining bugs and other issues will be fixed in the next release, if only I know what the issues were. Credits to all of the great RA1 pastime mappers who created those awesome missions and I will credit/name them in the next release until I find out who they were because there are so many RA1 custom missions created by various users.     Map Size

    In C&C3 and RA3, maps can go as big as 750x750! In RA1, I am fine with 128x128 as the max size, but mission maps with that size tend to have some issues.
  7. Thanks for the useful tool, Funkyfr3sh. However though, after the conversion, if I want to edit them again with RAED, I have to rename the files again since the recent version of RAED cannot detect/read custom mission files used for Portable RA.

  13. I was really wanting to do this last year, but wasn't willing to do it until now. Although Methuselah was interested what I told about this on, neither other administrator nor moderator in GR.org are willing to participate for this special event in this so-called C&C March Madness poll. Now that C&C is nearly dead all except for the ones in TA and C&C Online, I guess this is something I think the C&C community should have had some time ago.   14. Redalert.mix is separate from main.mix. They cannot be combined together. Is the fullRA+ plus a mix editor that works in DOS? If not, there's no way the movies work in RA1 and the expansions. Only a mix editor DOS program is able to do this correctly. Back then, I did add in and combine RA1 Allied and Soviet movies with the Aftermath main.mix together and it worked ingame. I did not combine in Counterstrike files since I don't own Counterstrike.
