I'm having the same problem. When I changed my game res to 1600x900 the lines go away but the next menu dues not expand beyond the menu sidebars. Then I have to alt tab to get the menu to update. make some blind clicks to set up my game then alt tab to update the menu again. I installed from CD and updated t V2.03 video is "Intel HD Graphics 3000" the game works on my windows 7 tower but not this laptop I could not get a screen shot. It only shows the problem on the screen, not the screen shots. could it be video drivers. **Edit - updating the video drivers worked for me.
