Hi everyone. I'm making a tournament style map. For some reason the game crashes as soon as the map loads. Do neutral buildings crash the game in skirmish and in multiplayer?

downgraded from 8.1 lol. the 16 bit issue is why I got 7. I've tried -win/-window it still doesn't work. I am used the origin version which might be why, but I know with the old launchers it would launch in a window from the cncnet client.

Still isn't working. It changes the ini file back to default every time I launch the game.

Actually the videos by him on the cncnet channel have the most views... I'm not talking about the ones with just the commentary. One of them has even surpassed (edit) 10K views.

I made a post about this problem in the YR section, however I'm really wanting to record this game and I even downgraded to windows 7 so I could get the games to play in a window. However when I re-downloaded all the cncnet launchers they were updated and have lost the option to run the game in window for some reason. When I try to change the ini file to run in window mode, it just changes it back before the game launches and forces the full screen. Please help.

Half of the YouTube videos on CnCNet's channel are from him. So yeah, if you didn't sponsor him - why would he keep making videos for you? I wonder why he even got on the Youtube channel in the first place. Most of the videos there are made by volunteers, but still. The account needs a clean up. He did make a lot of videos though. Instead of deleting them I would keep the videos uploaded. It will bring more players to the games. The videos are not the problem. He is a douche towards the community though and I would just brush him off and not worry about him. Haters gonna hate.

Okay so I built a new pc and got windows 7 only so I could record the game. I previously had windows 8.1 and could not record the game or play it in window mode. After getting all the cncnet launchers again...I see they have been upgraded and now there is no way to put the game in window mode unless I go to the ini file. However this still is not working and OBS still will not record anything using directdraw. How can I get the game in windowed mode?

Well im back to the fucking piece of shit not working for absolutely no reason. How do you have your obs set up? Use Windows 7 Sadly I found out whats causing it now the new update for obs broke it now they have to have add support for windows 8. 8.1 is way more stable than 7.

Yeah I did. I just uninstalled everything and re-installed the game.

LIke I said before I don't mind cause it keep people from camping in their base the whole game.

I like that Yuri can destroy the allies very quickly. Most ally players are noobs who like to camp in their base the whole game with paratroopers and a chronosphere. Not only is it noob as hell, but its boring. Don't really see it often on cncnet, but thats pretty much all it was on xwis.

That was more a comment to 55aa that he shouldn't assume such things, but yes, it DOES mean that if it is anywhere under "program files" you need to run the batch file in Administrator mode. Right click-> run as administrator. Curious though... did the game work before you installed the music patch? Read the readme file? There's a section on uninstalling My download didn't come with a readme and the game did work before I installed the music and I did run it as admin.

I re-done the music installation and its still not working and I'm not getting any errors with the batch file.

I installed them to their default paths I'm pretty sure if that is what you are asking. It works with the cncnet client though. When I try to launch it through origin it crashes before the game even loads.

After I used this on my game I cannot launch it from origin. How do you uninstall it?

Oh! I thought it was my graphics card cause when I was looking up some tutorials everyone was just setting their "mode" on their graphic cards to 16 bit. That sucks though.
