Since it looks like "Tech Center Bug Fix" isn't going to work at least for now, maybe it could be replaced by something else? There was kind of "location preview" in ps1 version of RA1, in 1:35 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnxC2wYq7cc you can see what I actually mean. Of course the function would be disabled by default, so it would not interfere original game that much. Would it be hard to change the fragment of the code that is responsible for map preview to display only the rectangle on the black background? Or do you think the idea of using ps1 solutions in PC ra1 isn't good at all?
