Hello devs, i just installed c&c yuri's revenge and it works fine on my machine. After downloading the cncnet launcher the installation goes without any errors, but when trying to launch the game it tries to update and casts a COM object that it can not find in any available type library. It then fails, and crashes with lots of KABOOOOOOMS. I added the error i got as attachment.
OS: Windows Vista X64
What i already tried: Update and check all my .net frameworks (installed correctly, checked registry, everything else works fine, 2, 3.5 sp1 & 4.0 installed without issues), searched the forums, saw someone else with the same issue but the question was not answered (this thread).
Is the launcher not compatible with Windows Vista? If so are you going to implement this? If not, no problem, then i know to give up trying to play with my friends like this and find another game Thanks for the reply.
