renderer at default . ooh it fixed when switched to OpenGL from default

hi. i recently encountered annoying problem that whenever i try to hit esc during the game it instantly freezes and i have to force quit every time via task manager. i ve tried to reinstall client but nothing changed. it also occurs when i press the botton at the top right screen. anyone help please
