I tried changing all the settings in the program as well as the files themselves and redownloaded the game a few times, had a similar issue with one other old game and the way I fixed it was by running it on the non default graphics card but for some reason you can't do that on tiberian sun as far as I know.

howdy, I had the menu freezing bug so I downloaded the patch but now the "play offline" mode doesn't launch at all anymore, well it makes the screen bug out for like 3 seconds but that's it.
