It was a renderer issue. Switched from auto to Direct3D9 and that solved it. I had assumed the game wouldn't run any missions at all if it was a render issue, clearly that was wrong.

Hey, I'm having an issue where the game crashes to a black screen after the post mission cinematic, but before the score screen, for the 2nd GDI mission(I haven't tried the Nod campaign yet). This has happened on versions of Tiberian Sun downloaded from here and elsewhere. Has anyone experienced this issue, or have any ideas on resolving it? Thanks in advance.
