AtLeastIHaveJob
I have Windows 10 running on bootcamp on a 27" iMac (Late 2019). I purchased RA2 via the Steam ultimate bundle, and it installed and ran pretty well, though only offered a few strange (low) screen resolution options. I then downloaded and installed the CnCNet Installer for Yuri's Revenge - this offered a lot more screen resolutions, but after the first one I selected, Yuri ran into a fatal error each time I started it. So... 1 - Anyone know the best resolution to set for an Apple iMac 27" 5K Display Early 2019 (Native resolution is: 5120 x 2880). 2 - Is there a way to do this not from within the game? Since the game won't run, I'm going to have to reinstall both RA2 and the CNC Patch unless there's some kind of pref file I can just edit somewhere? Thanks! MarT1n0viC
Do you start the game over the cncnet-client? Cuz there u have different Render and Resolution options without start the game itself - u may need change the Render. Try CNCDRAW and 1920x1080 If you cant do that u have the file "RA2MD.ini" in ur game folder to change resolution manually.
AtLeastIHaveJob
Thanks for the reply. Yes - I am running the game from the CnCNet client. I tried manually editing the .ini file to a few different options, but every time YR crashes on startup. AtLeastIHaveJob
I manually edited the Render to CNCDRAW as you suggested, (It was CNCD_DRAW before) but it didn't help. Are there other options I could try there (also entering manually in the .ini file, I guess)?
