What happened with the last update?

Hi all

New member here so apologies if this is posted in the wrong place (please let me know where it should be!)

I've got the latest client and loaded up a RA2 skirmish game and it feels like the AI has been nerfed from the last update - is this right/correct/incorrect?

For example, in the previous version, the AI would build 3 war factories and be churning out units (Kirovs especially) but also have the foresight to build a new construction vehicle if needed, but after the latest update it doesnt seem to be?

I dont recall downloading any mods
