Playonmac - Quick question

Hi all,

 

I'm trying to get RA working on my mac. I downloaded and installed playonmac

but when I start it up I get the following message.

 

"Playonmac cannot run because of bad language setting on you computer

 

To solve the problem, open a terminal and type: defaults write -g Applelocale en_US "

 

Can someone tell me exactly what this command does, since I don't want to

change my default language to US english without a way to go back to UK

english. I realise that the way to do that is prob 'en_UK', but still I'd like to

be sure.
