CnCNet 5 Client has stopped working...



Hi guys, when I lunch Tiberian Sun, it says CnCNet 5 Client has stopped working... I am on Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit. I have more than the requirements to play the game.

When I click on Tiberian Sun from the desktop, it brings the option to play online, skirmish, final sun editor, and etc. When I click on play online or skirmish, i get the message, "CnCNet 5 Client has stopped working."


I notice the work around is to lunch it from cncnet5 icon where all the files are saved. You will need to right click on "cncnet5" and select "Send to." Send it to the desktop. I notice if you just drag it, it will not like it.

It will do some update and once that is complete, it will ask you to enter your log in.


The question here is, is anyone else having this issue? is there a fix to it?
