Warhawk42
So I just recently downloaded CnCNet, and I've run into some problems. First off, while it was updating to 2.31 I got a script error "http://www.google.analytics.com/analytics.js" whatever that means. O_o Secondly I click on CncNet and then connect, it just hangs there. I'm running Yuris Revenge TFD and I've attached the logs if that'll help any. cncnetclient.log client.log

The log doesn't indicate such. .NET 3.5 installed?
0 Warhawk42
1. Yes, .Net 3.5 is installed (though my computer currently seems to be running 4.5.2) 2. It cycles through all the servers, but never connects to a single one. Its on an endless loop of "Trying to connect to Gamesurge, Chicago, Newark, Santa Ana" etc. cncnetclient.log

0 Grant
Upstate New York, United States This is most bizarre. To test, download RA1 and try to play online. See if you get any connection issues. https://cncnet.org/red-alert This will give us a better understanding if its client or GameSurge related. Thanks for your help in troubleshooting, hopefully we'll have you online very soon!
0 Warhawk42
Absolutely nothing. It keeps displaying "No response from Server" Also that irritating google analytics thing kept popping up.

I don't understand why that analytic error is showing. Could you screenshot the error? BTW I'm updating the client to include a broader port range and more IP's to attempt to make a connection to. If this doesn't work, I will have to put you in touch with GameSurge directly. Stay tuned for 2.

0 Warhawk42
Still nothing. Edit 1: Tried Yuris Revenge again with TFD updates and still nothing Oh, well. Thanks for trying to help.
0 Grant
BTW are you using a VPN, or is there a particular Anti-virus blocking?
0 Warhawk42
No VPN, but the computer does have PC matic installed. I wonder if that's the issue.
0 Grant
No VPN, but the computer does have PC matic installed. I wonder if that's the issue. Most likely, yes. If it blocks unknown applications (which this will be) it will cause an issue. Is there a way of allowing an exception?
0 Warhawk42
I'm not entirely sure tbh. I can turn it off I think.

0 Warhawk42
So I turned it off, and still nothing. I tried it with the base red alert(non-tfd), Yuris Revenge(TFD), and Yuris Revenge(TFD unofficial patch 1.03) none of them could connect to the servers. Also had the same issues with Dawn of Tiberium age and Twisted insurection.

They should be able to give you more info on why you can't connect.
