CnCnet and skirmish games not loading

Hello, I have a newer computer running Windows 10 and I am having an issue with both skirmish games and CnCnet games. When I use CnCnet and create a game, people can join and people can ping me so it's not a connection issue. When I click the game to start, CnCnet minimizes, nothing happens and then the window pops back up and I'm back in the lobby. People in the game say that the game starts, I just time out.  Same thing for when I am doing a skirmish game. I try to start the game, CnCnet minimizes to the desktop, nothing happens for about 5 seconds, CnCnet pops back up and nothing happens. I was talking to somebody through CnCnet and he made sure all my settings were correct, he said that something is stopping the pop-up window from coming up. I have disabled both of my firewall (AVG and windows). If anybody knows how I can fix this, please let me know! Thank you in advance!
