Having had a lot of fun streaming OpenRA last Sunday, and to further hype up my own upcoming OpenRA Tournament, I will be streaming more OpenRA tomorrow, May 6th 2016 at 18:00 GMT / 20:00 CEST on my channel on Twitch With any luck FiveAces will join me and actually coach me so that my own skill will grow and I might end up a somewhat decent player myself. Tomorrow it is Kingsday here in Holland, where we celebrate the birthday of our King. A Dutch kin should have a beard. This king does not. As long as he refuses to grow a beard, I will never bow to him and thus I refuse to join the people in celebration. So in stead, during any given moment in the day of 27-04-2016 I can decide to launch a Rise of the Reds stream. Or anything else for that matter. It could be that I stream 1 massively long session, or have a few shorter sessions. How exactly I fill the day is yet to be decided. With the announcement of Shockwave's upcoming patch release this upcoming Wednesday, march 16th 2016, I will be holding my regular Friday stream with 2 hours of regular games and what comes after that with songrequests, with Shockwave on my channel on Twitch this upcoming Friday, March 18th 2016 at 19:00 UTC From March 16th you will be able to download the newest patch, which will have SWRnet support (no need for Gameranger, Hamachi etc any more) right here Due to the fact I work in the evenings for me, I will not be streaming Shockwave any time sooner than that. Tomorrow, March 13th 2016, will mark the closing day of the OpenRA Tag Team Tournament 2016, hosted by FiveAces, SoScared and myself. Because we weren't able to get all the planned matches played today, we will be starting the last Semi Final Best of 5 at 15:00 GMT (at the end of this countdown ) on FiveAces' Youtube channel and my channel on Twitch After this we only have the Finals left. Because 2 best of 5 matches on the players is really stressful, the finals will be held after a dinner break, at 19:00 GMT (at the end of this countdown ) and we will be concluding it with the award ceremony as well as something special as a bit of a bonus! Tomorrow, March 12th 2016 will feature the Semi Finals for the OpenRA Tag Team tournament, hosted by FiveAces, SoScared and Myself. The Semi finals will be using a different format than the qualifiers and Round of 8. In stead, we will have 4 matches of 1vs1 and 1 match of 2vs2. Every one fights every one! We will be starting the first Semi Finals at around 13:00 GMT on both Fiveaces' Youtube channel and my own channel on Twitch Here is the countdown to the start of the stream And we hope to see you all then!

Because we were unable to get all of the scheduled matches played last weekend, FiveAces and myself will be holding 1 of he Round of 8 Matches of the OpenRA Tag Team Tournament between Teams The Art Of Fire and Crispy Hamburgers. The last round of 8 match (hopefully) as well as the Semi Finals will be held on Saturday and the Finals will be held on Sunday. The Friday Stream will start at 20:00 GMT (an hour later than usual) which is at the end of this countdown and will be held on both FiveAces' Youtube Channel and my channel on Twitch Hope to see you all then!

The tournament will be according to Tag Team: teams of 2 guys guy 1 from team A fights guy 1 from team B in a 1vs1 (1 point) guy 2 from team A fights guy 2 from team B in 1 1vs1 (1 point) Team A teams up against a teamed up Team 2 in a 2vs2 (2 points) If the result is a 2-2, another 2vs2 will be held to decide the winner

I have been asked by FiveAces to join in as co-commentator on at least the 5th and I will gladly join. also, I will be handing out a game to the winning team (2 copies of the same game) as an added prize

The news updates are being blasted out, so something good must be on the horizon. It was requested many times, by many people. "Please, stream this mod. You NEED to stream this mod" With the upcoming Anniversary patch of C&C Shockwave, I have been asked by the developers to stream the internal Beta, as I did in the past for RotR. So, starting tomorrow, February 14 2016 at 19:00 GMT I will do the first livestream of C&C Shockwave on my channel on Twitch for the first part, General Camo will be joining me as co-commentator. It's been over a year since Graion Dilach and I last were in a stream together, showcasing his mod for Yuri's Revenge, called Attacque Supérior. A lot has happened since, most notably the move from Ares and the YR engine to the OpenRA engine. This upcoming Saturday, February 13th 2016 at 19:00 GMT Graion Dilach will once again join me on my channel on twitch as we will be showcasing the first playable test version of Attacque Supérior. We will discuss the changes as well as see if the Fan Favorite match will end as it usually does. I present a nice countdown And I hope to see you all then!

Defense is an art, and I am a scrub at it. Tonight at 19:00 GMT on my channel on Twitch I will be hosting another stream of Rise of the Reds 1.86 which will end off with songrequests. However, for the first section I wanted to showcase (some of) the Art of Defense maps that Skit For the occasion Skit will join me as a co-commentator (meaning we'll probably hear Miss_Thrax in the background too) since I have no clue how to handle these maps, I';ll just dive in blindly and see whatever happens. Red Alert (1) came in a time when I was, historically, interested in the Soviet Union and the Cold War. Where I was wondering how life could be like if Communism would've been the way to go in the 90's Europe, Red Alert kind of gave me an answer I think I should be able to say that "unfortunately" I was introduced to Red alert (and thus the genre of RTS) before I was introduced to Command & Conquer (back then it had that name, nowadays we know it as Tiberian Dawn) and with this, in combination with my interest in the Soviet Union, it sparked an interest, and eventual love for the Red Alert universe, peaking, obviously at Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. At the same pace, I was introduced to Red Alert 2 before Tiberian Sun, so I've always had a higher regard for RA2 than anything else. That, plus my distaste for "walker mechs on Earth", which TS of course had a lot of, I've never really been able to enjoy the Tiberium universe at all, especially at TW/KW, learning it once again was Kane vs GDI and something else. (let's not discuss the failure of CNC4) CNC Generals was different, but due to the lack of Russia ( felt, in that day if an RTS had USA, it also needed Russia, again the whole Cold War scenario), I could not fully enjoy it (until recently) and thus never payed too much attention to it. More recently I've delved a little bit deeper ino the core and I've found some appreciation for this game Now I have to say that the mods I've come to know in the recent years, I've gotten a greater appreciation for variety. If an RTS has sides, but each side is not divided into "uniquer" armies, I find them less appealing (Grey Goo is a great example of such "generic 3 faction" RTS) and perhaps it has tainted my perspective on RTS games in general Going back to the topic at hand, I've always favored the Red Alert universe to the other universes since my interest in the Soviet Union (and my love for Tesla weaponry) so I'll stick with that
