(Resolved) custom maps wont show up on skirmish RA:2 YR

So i made some cusotm maps on FinalAlert2 and they wont show up on skirmish and i cant figure out why.

I put them in the custom map folder and they show on the editor but not in game. Is there a step by step guide on how to do this?

I dont know what im doing wrong and ive been at it all day.

I made sure the extension was .map and tried .mpr but all i really did was add it to the end of the file name when i saved it.

Thinking im following the tutorial correctly but i guess im missing something.

are you running the game through the cncnet client, or are you running it through the primary executable?

The CnC Client, I think so atleast. I tried running the origin version and the one i got from CnCnet. 

REVISION: Holy Crap! Its working! Thanks for asking me that question! I figured it out!

The issue was simply the having the correct extention on the file and having it in the right folder.
