Orcinfo Posted August 23, 2022 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Hi I used the installer from cnc-comm.com TSinstaller.exe 62 MB. installed in default directory C:\westwood\sun When I try to patch it with https://cnc-comm.com/tiberian-sun/downloads/patches I receive all kinds of errors: TS113EN.EXE Quote --------------------------- Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun 1.13 Patch --------------------------- This patch will update the English language version of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun to version 1.13 (9/29/99). The game files are not 62 MB. amokk Posted August 24, 2022 Share Posted August 24, 2022 (edited) I think the original patched to version 2.03. on win98/xp But that was a long, long time ago, on a os far, far away........... now 20 years later on a much different version of windows, you might try this new one....... https://cncnet.org/tiberian-sun no problems with it . I was more comfortable with the cncn-comm.com one because its installation path is .C:\Westwood\SUN rather than C:\Games\CnCNet\TiberianSun_Online from the cncnet.org installer. amokk Posted August 25, 2022 Share Posted August 25, 2022 (edited) That link is for the full game installer, not a patch It is the full game, same as the Westwood one, is fully self contained, automatically patches itself when needed, and works on current operating systems. includes the campaigns Automatically takes you into the online lobby where you can play. Register https://ladder.cncnet.org/ladder for quick matches. amokk Posted August 26, 2022 Share Posted August 26, 2022 'old one' is the one you are trying to patch, cncn-comm.com 'new one' is the cncnet client. https://cncnet.org/tiberian-sun installer/client different but it is the same delicious game both of them, new packaging..lol Think of it as the new digital download of the same game...... I have been playing since the 2nd week it has come out I don't use my original westwood cd's or the cncn-comm.com version...
