Described ominously in the Command and Conquer Wiki as 'An early Esling, portrayed by a different actor,' this brief description, the accompanying images and mere seconds of footage from old trailers constitute everything I can find online about this unused version of General Esling.

Is there more footage of this guy? It sure seems like it. Do entire briefing tapes exist in a moldy basement somewhere featuring this forgotten character? And who is to be credited as the actor? And further, why was this iteration of the character scrapped? I'm also not completely convinced that the two men displayed here are even the same person.

It also seems plausible that this sparse content is all that has ever existed of the scrapped Esling, created exclusively to be used in promotional material. Just curious if this is lost media.

I dunno. I don't remember seeing him in the Remaster bonus material, and that's the only "tapes from a moldy basement somewhere" that we got.
