I got an error like this:
Please make sure you have DirectX 8.1 or higher installed. Also verify your video card meets the minimum requirements.

I don't know what to do

You are probably missing the old versions of DirectX. Install this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

Go into the program files for the game and find this file :- dbghelp.dll  Delete it in both the Generals folder and the Zero Hour folder.
