Red Alert 2 + CNCnet4 Doesn't Work

I have red alert 2 installed and cracked and try to use cncnet4 with it but every time i try its either is your 8045 port open and yes it is I used the udp tool provided and checked is deffinately open. then I try not using peer to peer and it says server seems to be down but i check server stats and people are deffinately playing on cncnet 4. Someone please help?

make sure you got port 9001 in the cncnet settings, never change that port

Yea I'm using that port and all it does is checks for update then waits for 3 seconds then checks for update then waits for 3 seconds then checks for updates and so on in a loop I cnt see what else I could be doing wrong

you did select cncnet.exe in the settings, so it keeps starting itself instead of the game .. change it to game.exe or ra2.exe (cant remember the name)
