Need help making downloaded cameos to work in TS (using UMP as a base)

HI, I downloaded the Aydra Cameo pack, and wanted to install them. These files come in .pcx format and I followed these tutorials (http://xhp.xwis.net/, http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=637), installing the .shp format of these files in conquer.mix/tibsun.mix, ecache02.mix and expand02.mix (these last 2 come with the UMP mod); yet even if i select the according custom cameo of the mammoth tank ingame, it just appear as the grey xxicon.shp, while in TibEd, it looks like a really bad quality version of the cameo.

So what I'm doing wrong? And on a side note, where can I find a Nod Light Tower cameo?

Nuke TibEd from your PC as it is well sucks.... You can do everything and more in notepad/wordpad.

In TS the cameo for each unit is set in the art.ini (aifs.ini for firestorm).

In the stock art.ini you will find

[4TNK]

Voxel=yes

Remapable=yes

PrimaryFireFLH=40,32,96

SecondaryFireFLH=-32,80,120

PBarrelLength=192

Whay you want to do is add Cameo=*File_Name* to the [4TNK] data. At the *File_Name* part add the name of your Cameo with OUT the .shp  When done you should have somthing like this.

[4TNK]

Cameo=4TNKICON

Voxel=yes

Remapable=yes

PrimaryFireFLH=40,32,96

SecondaryFireFLH=-32,80,120

PBarrelLength=192

I tried it, but no results. Could be that the conversion from .pcx to .shp using XCC mixer was corrupted (Did twice)? Does the fact the length of the name (Cameo=MAMMOTHTANK)? Or that the filename is not all caps?

Cameo could be in the wrong format. For TS and RA2 you must use Copy as SHP (TS). The file name could be too long. All caps dosn't matter to the game. My old TibSun has a number of Cameo listed with out using caps.

I´m sure I converted to the right .shp format. I checked using XCC Mixer and mix editor. Will try giving a shorter name (I suppose no more than 8 characters).

Icons go into the conquer.mix or ecache##.mix.

Attach the icon in the shp format (in a zip file) or the ecache##.mix (in a zip file) that has icon in it and I will see if something is wrong.
