Does CnCnet work with disc copy?

I have a copy of C&C the first decade and I was wondering if it would work with CnCnet? I am running windows 7 64 bit so the online version available here has the black screen issue. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Yes it works, just copy cncnet5.exe into your game folder: http://downloads.cncnet.org/cncnet5.exe

About the black screen problem, start the game launcher on your desktop, go to settings and try to change the renderer to "TS-DDraw" and if that one doesn't work then try the other ones too

Watch out once you run the cncnet5.exe it starts putting a ton of files in your directory. The horror!
