dsnider
Thanks for the help in advance… I am using a macbook air, Mac OS X. Red Alert works fine, not problems, no crashes. But Tiberium Sun always crashes at some point or another during the first 10 minutes of game play, regardless of the resolution. My computer has the power to run the game, it's a bug or technical issue of some sort. I have already redownloaded the game. It didn't help. Any suggestions other than buying a PC? I realize this game would run better on PC.
FunkyFr3sh
Are you using our multiplayer Mac download? (the one with 3 games in 1 package)

FunkyFr3sh
Try to lower the DetailLevel settings via the ingame options, set it to the lowest possible. If the in-game options menu doesn't work for you then type this while you are in the cncnet chat lobby: /run sun.ini [Options] DetailLevel=0 change it to 0 and save the file
dsnider
Fresh, I'm baffled. The detail is at the lowest, and I've taken the resolution way down. It is still freezing. Again, on RA, this doesn't happen, even with the resolution at the very highest. My inclination is to think there is some box that's been checked off on RA that hasn't been for Sun. Thoughts? FunkyFr3sh
The trick we are using on TS for mac is just a beta version, you can try to turn it off and check if that helps. But it will probably become much worse cause the game normally doesn't run well on macs Go to the game settings and disable TS-DDraw (change the rendering to default)
dsnider
yea… much worse on default. Any other ideas?

FunkyFr3sh
We don't have anyone working on these packages besides me, I don't have a mac and I could never test the packages on my own (I made everything on windows) The only option you have is trying to update the package with the latest files manually (This only works via Mac, so I couldn't try it on my own yet) google "how to update a wineskin wrapper"
