Selecting Online does a cncnet 5 updater which does not update and gives error

The error tells me it failed to update and to check anti virus or a firewall. I've tried disabling the firewall, reinstalling, and even turning off antivirus, nothing works.

 

I'm on Windows 7 64bit if that helps.

Have you tried running it as administrator? Could be a file permissions issue.

I tried, still does the "Checking for Updates (downloads.cncnet.org/updates/cncnet5/) " and then says error.
