CARRiON
So, I recently decided to cave in and buy the C&C Ultimate Pack on Origin since it was $5. Pretty much every game works with a few tweaks and patches on Windows 10, and I've otherwise been enjoying the OpenRA project for the older games that are supported. However, when I installed C&C 3, I seem to have ran into a rather annoying graphical glitch. Doing a search for a fix results in nothing, leading me to believe it may be driver related, and possibly recently new or very specific. I'm running an AMD system ATM, with an R9 380X and the latest drivers. But even if it is driver related, I figured I'd give it a shot and ask the community anyways. Basically, the Tiberium in my C&C 3 looks very... strange. The decals underneath it appear to be corrupted somehow. Here are some screenshots demonstrating what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/kU2xPok.jpg http://i.imgur.com/fp02O6a.jpg http://i.imgur.com/j7wsBOo.jpg http://i.imgur.com/aCdglWt.jpg As you can see, it looks quite distracting and strange. Depending on the map, I've seen it be anything from white, to blue, to weird shades of green, to even purple. Something is obviously up, and it's a shame because it prevents me from really sitting down to play C&C 3. Any suggestions or fixes would be welcome! Plokite_Wolf
Someone else just had a similar problem in Kane's Wrath very recently, but believed it was due to the newest 1.02+ map pack. Seems it isn't... Check if rolling back to your previous driver version fixes this.
