To find players join the new CnCNet IRC; #cncnet at irc.freenode.net Visit our forums and website for the latest info! What is CnCNet CnCNet is an open source unofficial (as in not supported by EA) service created by Command & Conquer fans. This service allows you to play Command & Conquer, Red Alert and Tiberian Sun online through the network functions of the games. CnCNet allows you to play "network" games over the Internet. CnCNet uses peer to peer (p2p) technology to connect games on CnCNet together. For games to be smooth we recommend that you play with players on your own continent, but if you don't mind some lag a European player can play with a US player. But try to avoid extremes as a Canadian player playing with someone from New Zealand, because that will have extreme lag! So basically the closer the players are the better.
