Shock Trooper doesn't say anything in the most actual RA1 download

I downloaded Ra1 from http://redalert1.com/ and the Shock Trooper doesn't speak in that version.

Also, his attack animation (the electricity) doesn't show up most of the time.

I'm guessing this is a NO CD RA1? If yes the changes are that your sounds.mix is not from AfterMath. If no. Than put the AfterMath CD in top CD drive.

 

I'm attaching the AfterMath sounds.mix. Rxtract if from the ZIP and put the sounds.mix game directory.

Thx, adding the aftermath sound.mix did help.

 

 

Though it would be good if the one, whoever is responsible for redalert1.com, would read this, as he isn't quite good at "keepin' RA online".

 

 

 

 

Edit: Now I am trying to get the counterstrike and aftermath videos to work; Putting all files from all three movies1.mix files into one movies1.mix didn't work. Is there some another file that is has something to do with them ?

Counterstrike and Aftermath videos? The don't use any videos but the stock ones that come with plan RA1. Counterstrike and Aftermath have no briefing videos.

TLF don't work with NO CD dose it? I think it dose but it uses the old UnZip install that one has to do some work to get it working on NO CD?

TLF works without no-cd. It also contains a no-cd exe; the TFD one.
