New map, can't stop making 5 player maps, they make more fun to me than other kinds of maps at the moment so here it is: Vertical Limit Vol.II 5P Inspired by its first version Vertical Limit - a good map in my optinion but for 5 players you need to squeeze everything out of the 62x62 field. And that what does Vertical Limit 1 not, but Vol. II. I guess there is nothing special to explain when you study the picture, I spent more time on the symmetry of the hills (not the trees for a "bit" of a natural look) than on pure natural look but I think that's ok for this Vol.II version (neither does Vol.I look natural to me). As always, download on post 1 page 1 - scm157ea - download BOTH files to play it and have fun with it!

Ah this seems to be fashion by now, got the same experience with that china-bad-internet-guys. My advice - kick/ban them off the game and insult them really hard

Here is another version (a kind of fun edit / alternative version / scripted edition) of the map Thirsty duel and it is called: Thirsty duel scripted 2P Now what's special about it? As you can notice the spawn point of your mcv lies inbetween 5 turrets that will hack the guts out of it, even if you deploy..... North has a pre set combination of NOD Tanks and GDI troops, adding a nuke, helipads and some additional buildings. South has a pre set combination of GDI Tanks and NOD troops, adding a nuke, helipads and also some other buildings that are same to what north has. Due to the fact that the airfield is stronger than the weapon factory, the initial health of the airfield is reduced by half. But the map is set so you have everything in option to do... just think about your opportunities and your already unlocked building options. This map can also be played with 0 starting credits, you should move your 4 harvesters to earn money from the beginning on, everything else is up to you. For a little special (and if you lose the weap or airfield / barracks or Hand of Nod) there are 3 buildings in the middle - WEAP, BARR, HAND - so conquer them first. Soo......have fun! The first tests showed that this is the least problem because once you get there to break in accidentally your troops are just big enough to kill them quickly. I even had the feeling they attack the one who breaks in the "prison"-square. It's just the idea that not every "egg" you break is good for the player and doesn't need to be opened. The most fighting concentration was always the middle of the map and so it is meant to be. -

Hello cnc community! I created two fun maps as part of an easter special release who are completely different to what is made for tiberian dawn by now. First one is an up to 4 way FFA map and is called: Crazy Square Time 4P And below here its pendant for a heavy 2 vs 2 battle - left vs right: Crazy Square Battle 2vs2 4P Downloads of these two maps are just in this thread not in my usual two threads. Have fun playing them! As a little tip for playing it first time: in every square there is a surprise.....or an empty field / unusable field - so build grenades or rocket soldiers at the very beginning to find out.... and a few engineers might come in handy for a better possesion rate of the playground. scm251ea.bin scm251ea.ini scm252ea.bin scm252ea.ini -
I got something for you......it's 5 Player, it has a theme and I hope it gives a lot of fun: Canyon Rally 5P The Canyon Rally raceway is fenced like a real raceway would be.... so you and your special forces team gotta intrude on this racetrack.... why? Because they say the racetrack goes around a big mountain that has lots of tiberium you can make money with. But you are not alone.... up to 4 other commanders try to conquer the track, too, and harvest all of the mountain's green shining money. So fetch a few grenades, rocket soldiers, tanks, bikes or towers to destroy the fence to get in there as quick as possible and besiege the rally circuit. (Upload on page 1 post 1, its name is scm156ea)

Thanks I just forgot it, but when I saw that it makes no difference at all and many players already had the file downloaded I decided to leave it like that.

The Zip-folder with all maps until 06/March/2015 in the attachment. Just put the whole folder "Manu" in your "maps" folder of cncnet.

New map on page 1: Roller Coaster Ride 5P A map designed in the style of the blistering sands maps - only in grass (and slightly different), but still natural. Somehow I prefer doing 5 player FFA maps to battlemaps.... placing all of the 5 in this tiny 62x62 field..... download on page 1 post 1 and enjoy! Filename is scm155ea.

I did modify this thread for more clearness - all new maps will now be put into the picture of the 1st post on page 1, also the download section is there and will be refreshed every time a new modification is made. So have a look from time to time!

Edited the Conquer the fortress map a bit, If you downloaded some maps here: most maps were edited during time, so replace your older files by the newest ones i uploaded on page 1 near bottom (I always replace the files when editing the maps again so they are always the newest versions). And as a bonus I got another 3 vs 2 alternative map for you, brand new: The Blue Border 3vs2 5P The preview says all: natural look, 3 vs 2, a river as a border. Build your way to the river to push forward to the enemy. Download below and on page 1 - main post.

Polluted Villages 2vs2 4P A map with a natural build, not mirrored this time. This map eliminates any West disadvantages for NOD and has no real "North VS South"-playing because you can build your own way through the paths... eliminate the villages for long battles to have extra tiberium field or for buildings or leave 'em there to have a blockade. Freezy Battlefield 2vs2 4P Freezy Battlefield Vol. II 2vs2 4P The two versions are a bit different. The first one has only one main Path from team 1 to team 2, so build along to the middle like a snake. The second version has a wall with a tiny gap to pass and a small back exit of your Base. Stripe Battle 4P Simply a variation of the Stripe Land 5 Player Map in my '5 Player Map'-thread. To mention the specials: On the top right you can see 2 Silos, a tech-center, a tiberium refinery and a hospital, all there to be conquered. I just saw you can copy the txt (Tiberium, other overlay and terrain) from the file and paste it into a new, at least this part can be rescued. But the ridges, rivers and so on are not written into the same file... or can they be copied out of the other file? Another warning for all map makers: DON'T CLICK ON "FILL WITH WATER"!

Hi, I was just about of having a map ready. By clicking on the option "fill with water" (NEVER DO THAT!!!!!) I had whitescreen and the file was destroyed. Is there any opportunity I can remove the "filled in water" (via notepad etc.) and saving my file so far? It is all about the XCC Editor.
