  1. You probably already know this but there was a cheat on the PSX version to change the unit voices to Japanese during the game (and EVA if I remember correctly), although you had to be on the pause screen to enter the code. Might be an idea to look at that?
  2. I've been creating my own mission and I've noticed a few things about this bug. I encounter it very often. It is almost always happening after I build a few vehicles. Destroying enemy vehicles/units does not help at all. Even selling and buying a new airstrip does not work. It just locks up and the plane does not deliver it, regardless if I cancel the unit when it is "ready" and try to build a new one. It seems to happen more often after you build a few SSM launchers? EDIT: I've just had a scenario where it only bugs out on building SSM launchers, whilst I could buy stealth/flame tanks completely fine. This leads me to believe that there is a bug with the SSM launcher itself.
  3. Thank you both for your replies. I've had a read through of your work on there now, I didn't realise that there was so much research done on this already, well done! I was talking about both generally. I would have wanted to play around with them and implement them into a mission I'd like to make but I guess it will have to wait, I don't have the experience for modifying the actual executable for the game I just tried dropping off a few commandos off an airstrip with a trigger and it does work, but only one commando comes through and the rest I get their full value in cash. I'll definitely be throwing this in a mission or two
  4. It's a long shot and I'm guessing it is hardcoded into the game.. but has anybody managed to find a way to change what possible infantry can come out of buildings? IE engineers can come out mcvs, scientists can come out of tech centres etc I also don't suppose it is possible to make a trigger to reinforce infantry through the barracks/hon, but not actually buying them? This is used in red alert 1 missions, I know it's a very different game but I just had a curiosity that there might be a similar function already present?
  5. Good afternoon sirs. I have just started making a few maps (some large ones with A LOT on there just for fun, practising with triggers etc). I appear to have hit my first snag while using XCC. I have several factions involved in a map I am making and it appears that I have hit some kind of upper limit or a bug, where several buildings end up being aligned to GDI even after I changed them and save them, or indeed if I delete some and re-add them as the correct team. Not only that, but any associated triggers on the buildings get deleted. I have deleted units and other structures off the map to no avail. It appears to not like the last several buildings that I have put on the map. I thought I had reached a maximum size of the document or so but it is 20k. I have around 80 buildings under [base] and 100 ish under [structures] in my map's .ini Any thoughts? Also, just as a quick side question but I don't suppose anybody has figured out how to have a reinforced MCV deploy? Thanks for any help
