Can't connect to Cncnet

Hi,

 

I'm having real problems connecting to cncnet,

 

I have downloaded the programs and patch - I have even opened port 8054.

 

When opening the program i get the message: the cncnet server seems to be down. Then when I check port settings by hitting the retest button it says port 8054 isn't open. However on port checker it says port 8054 is open.

 

I am stuck and have run out of ideas. Has anyone else had these problems?

 

Any solutions would be very useful.

make sure you got the following cncnet settings: server.cncnet.org - port: 9001

also check your firewall, if you don't use the original windows firewall then disable it for testing

also run cncnet.exe as admin
