Download links are broken

Hi all,

 

A heads up, the download links for the full version of Red Alert on the main page of RedAlert1.com are NOT working. They are broken, both the main and mirror links.

 

Please fix that.

nope, both files are hosted on some file hosters. Might be that your country does not allow you to visit those websites ? where are you from ?

I am from Malaysia. I used to play RA years ago.

 

First off, the RA mini link works. The Full Version RA link does NOT work. The mirror does not work too. I tried browsing with a proxy, and the depositfiles  link is apparently not broken....but still unclickable.....not working even in the proxy.

Calm down. Everything works for me as well. Maybe your browser or antivirus or something blocks Depositfiles. Try using a different browser and check if you have AVG that does some funky things.

Apparently, our govt in their good hearts to protect the multibillion (or trillion entertainment industry in the US) has blocked a lot of file sharing sites like Megaupload and DepositFiles last year.....I only found out about that yesterday. Anyway, used a proxy DNS and managed to download the full version. But now, there is a new problem..... RA cannot install or start properly, because it always hangs at the connection stage to the CNC server..... :ranting:
