Tiberian Sun CD issue

So I downloaded Tiberian Sun from this website here, and I completely installed it.

Though when I go to play the game, I get an error message related to needing to have a CD to run it and then press OK.

I am running Windows 7 and have tried GAME.exe and SUN.exe in Administrative mode, but they do not work. Also, compatibility for 98/ ME as well.

Please help as soon as possible. I got Red Alert working and love this site for that. Don't let me down brothers!

Like I said: cmd.exe MUST be ran in administrator mode or else it will not register correctly.

This time was able to run CMD as an administrator, but it still did not work trying to manually register.

Sorry for such a long thread on this, probably just doesn't work for a reason.

I guess your PC just hates TS. Usually it's much easier to get it running.

 

But I'll look into it more.

Well thank you guys for the help. If anything else comes up, you can email me. I will be looking more into it myself.

 

I believe it could be related to an old error on this PC (I have had it for one year now.) Old hardware crash that messed some things up.

Will probably see if a new hard drive with no errors will work. I don't know why but I feel that the games onto a new HDD would work..

Does the exact same thing. Registered the BLOWFISH.dll and such, all previous ideas.
