Hosting a Tunnel sever (Help)

Murix

Question

Ok so I had some more stuff in this post before but I just now saw the Port Forwarding Topic so I removed that and Will move on to the Tunnel Sever Question.

I've downloaded the EXE. file from (http://cncnet.org/network-status) and that seemed to be working fine.

I was getting the messages on the sever after I started it which were:

[sat Feb 01 00:12:54 EST 2014] Port      : 50000

[sat Feb 01 00:12:54 EST 2014] Master    : http://cncnet.org/master-announce

[sat Feb 01 00:12:54 EST 2014] Host rate limit is disabled.

[sat Feb 01 00:12:54 EST 2014] TunnelController: Took 31ms to initialize pool.

[sat Feb 01 00:12:54 EST 2014] TunnelController started.

[sat Feb 01 00:12:54 EST 2014] Sending a heartbeat to master server.

[sat Feb 01 00:13:55 EST 2014] Sending a heartbeat to master server.

and the sever also showed up on http://cncnet.org/master-list

But for some reason I couldn't see it when creating a game as one of the tunnel severs to chose from.

So my other question is "Why?"

I'd really like to be able to use the CNCNET client and severs to play with my friends but these issue are making it imposable at the moment, and help or advice is highly appreciated.

do -NOT- set a password in the tunnel server :) its not supported yet

and make sure you got port 50000 tcp and udp open, else it wont work

btw, why are you not using any of the other tunnel servers ? If you cant play with either of them then anything is wrong with your pc (anti-virus/firewall)

if you are getting the "other system not responding" error then check this here: http://cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=2732
